Preparation

Take a slow, deep breath in… and fully release it.
Notice any tightness, heaviness, or discomfort in your chest or lungs — without judgment.
Simply observe where your lungs feel tense or restricted.

Rate your lung comfort and ease of breathing from 0 to 10.


Setup Statement

(Tap the Karate Chop point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though my lungs feel tense, heavy, or restricted,
I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though I sometimes struggle to breathe fully or easily,
I honor my experience and am open to healing now.”

“Even though part of me holds stress, fear, or sadness in my chest,
I choose to heal my lungs and invite clear, easy breathing.”


Tapping Round 1 – Acknowledging Lung Stress

Eyebrow:
“This tension in my lungs and chest”

Side of Eye:
“The heaviness or restriction I feel”

Under Eye:
“The shallow or tight breathing”

Under Nose:
“The stress, fear, or sadness I carry here”

Chin:
“This pressure and tightness inside me”

Collarbone:
“All the ways my lungs feel blocked or stressed”

Under Arm:
“The emotional and physical holding in my chest”

Top of Head:
“All these barriers to free, easy breathing”

Take a deep breath in… slowly exhale.


Tapping Round 2 – Understanding & Softening

Eyebrow:
“These feelings once protected me”

Side of Eye:
“They may have kept me alert or cautious”

Under Eye:
“I can honor their purpose”

Under Nose:
“But I no longer need tension or fear to breathe safely”

Chin:
“My lungs and chest can relax and expand”

Collarbone:
“I allow ease and comfort in my breathing”

Under Arm:
“My body supports healthy, deep breaths”

Top of Head:
“Softening the grip of stress and tightness”

Breathe deeply… long exhale.


Tapping Round 3 – Releasing Tension & Emotional Holding

Eyebrow:
“I release tension, stress, and fear from my lungs”

Side of Eye:
“Letting go of heaviness or restriction”

Under Eye:
“My lungs expand easily and freely”

Under Nose:
“I release emotional holding in my chest”

Chin:
“Comfort, ease, and clarity flow into my lungs”

“All patterns that block free breathing dissolve”

Under Arm:
“My breath is full, deep, and natural”

“Relaxation and healing fill my lungs”

Pause. Take a grounding breath.


Tapping Round 4 – Installing Healthy, Easy Breathing

Eyebrow:
“My lungs are healthy, clear, and strong”

Side of Eye:
“My breath flows deeply and effortlessly”

Under Eye:
“My body supports natural, easy breathing”

Under Nose:
“I release fear, tension, and tightness”

Chin:
“Comfort, ease, and energy fill my chest”

Collarbone:
“My lungs expand freely with every breath”

Under Arm:
“I am open to vitality and life energy through my lungs”

Top of Head:
“Healing, clarity, and strength fill my lungs”

Take a slow, grounding breath… and exhale completely.


Closing Integration

Place one hand on your chest and one on your back.

Say softly:

“I release tension and welcome healing in my lungs.
I breathe fully, easily, and deeply.
My lungs are healthy, clear, and strong.”

Re-rate your lung comfort and ease of breathing from 0 to 10.
Repeat any round until you feel openness, ease, and vitality in your chest and lungs.
