“Allowing Patience to Rise Within Me”

Preparation
Take a slow, deep breath.
Place one hand over your heart and one on your belly.
Feel your body soften and become aware of God’s Spirit guiding you.
Begin tapping gently on the Karate Chop point.
Setup Statement (Karate Chop – repeat 3 times)
“Even though there are times when I feel rushed, frustrated, or impatient,
I now choose to surrender these feelings
to the gentle guidance of the Holy Spirit.”
“Even though waiting feels uncomfortable,
or I want things to happen on my own timeline,
I open my heart now
and allow the Fruit of the Spirit—Patience—
to emerge from within me.”
“Even though I sometimes doubt that things will unfold as they should,
I trust God’s timing
and invite patience to fill my mind, my heart, and my body.”
Tapping Round 1 – Acknowledging Impatience
Eyebrow:
“I notice the impatience inside me.”
Side of Eye:
“I feel the tension when things move slowly.”
Under Eye:
“I get frustrated with myself or others.”
Under Nose:
“I want results right away.”

“I resist the waiting process.”

“I feel anxious when life moves at its own pace.”

“All these feelings of hurry and discomfort.”

Tapping Round 2 – Releasing Resistance

“I don’t have to force the timing of my life.”

“I allow myself to slow down.”

“I release the need for immediate results.”

“I release frustration and tension.”

“I choose to trust God’s perfect timing.”

“I surrender control and let life unfold.”

Tapping Round 4 – Embodying Patience

“I am patient with myself and others.”

“I accept the timing of life.”

“I am calm even in uncertainty.”

“I trust the process of growth.”

“I respond with thoughtfulness instead of rushing.”

“I embody the calm and steady presence of the Spirit.”

“I live each moment with grace.”

“Patience is a natural part of me.”
Closing Integration
Place both hands over your heart.
Take a deep, slow breath in… and release.
Silently or aloud, say:
“Holy Spirit, thank You for teaching me patience.
I surrender my hurry, my frustration, and my need for control.
Let patience rise within me and guide my words, actions, and thoughts.
May I walk in Your timing with trust and peace. Amen.”
Pause for a few moments and notice the stillness, calm, and spaciousness growing inside you.
