Preparation

Take a slow, deep breath in… and fully release it.
Notice any feelings of laziness, procrastination, or resistance to action — without judgment.
Observe where sloth shows up in your body or mind.

Rate the intensity of sloth from 0 to 10.


Setup Statement

(Tap the Karate Chop point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I notice laziness or resistance in myself,
I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though I sometimes procrastinate, avoid effort, or feel stuck,
I honor my awareness and am open to release sloth now.”

“Even though part of me has held stagnation or inactivity,
I choose to let go, embrace energy, and open to purposeful action.”


Tapping Round 1 – Acknowledging Sloth

Eyebrow:
“This laziness or resistance I feel inside”

Side of Eye:
“The procrastination or avoidance I notice”

Under Eye:
“The heaviness or lack of motivation in me”

Under Nose:
“This tension or stagnation in my body and mind”

Chin:
“All the ways sloth affects my productivity and energy”

Collarbone:
“The discomfort or frustration it creates”

Under Arm:
“This block keeping me from action”

Top of Head:
“All these ways sloth limits my growth and purpose”

Take a slow, grounding breath… exhale fully.


Tapping Round 2 – Understanding & Softening

Eyebrow:
“This sloth once protected me from burnout or stress”

Side of Eye:
“It reminded me to rest or conserve energy”

Under Eye:
“I can honor its purpose”

Under Nose:
“But I no longer need inactivity or avoidance to feel safe”

Chin:
“I allow energy, focus, and motivation to flow into my life”

Collarbone:
“I release procrastination, stagnation, and resistance”

Under Arm:
“I open to productive, purposeful, and joyful action”

Top of Head:
“Softening the grip of laziness and inertia”

Breathe deeply… long exhale.


Tapping Round 3 – Releasing Sloth

Eyebrow:

“I move forward with clarity and determination”

“I am inspired and productive in all I do”

Take a slow, grounding breath… and exhale completely.


Closing Integration

Place one hand on your heart and one on your stomach.

Say softly:

“I release laziness, procrastination, and resistance.
I embrace energy, focus, and purposeful action.
Vitality, motivation, and clarity flow through me naturally.”

Re-rate the intensity of sloth from 0 to 10.
Repeat any round until you feel release, lightness, and momentum.
