Preparation

Sit or lie comfortably.
Take a slow, deep breath in…
and exhale fully.

Bring your awareness to areas where you feel tension, harshness, impatience, or self-criticism.
Notice where you long for gentleness — with yourself, others, or life circumstances.


Setup Statement

(Karate Chop Point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I sometimes struggle to be gentle with myself or others,
and even though I notice impatience, judgment, or harshness,
I choose to acknowledge these feelings honestly,
and I am open to turning up the frequency of gentleness in my life.”


Round 1 – Acknowledging Challenges to Gentleness

Eyebrow:
“I notice harshness or judgment in myself”

Side of Eye:
“I feel impatient with myself or others”

Under Eye:
“I feel tension or frustration in challenging situations”

Under Nose:
“I notice criticism, self-doubt, or blame”

Chin:
“I sometimes struggle to be kind and gentle”
