Release Yourself from the Sin of Gluttony – EFT Tapping Script

Preparation

Take a slow, deep breath in… and fully release it.
Notice any cravings, overindulgence, or attachment to food — without judgment.
Observe where gluttony shows up in your body or mind.

Rate the intensity of gluttony from 0 to 10.


Setup Statement

(Tap the Karate Chop point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I notice gluttony in myself,
I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though I sometimes overindulge, crave, or eat mindlessly,
I honor my awareness and am open to release gluttony now.”

“Even though part of me clings to excess or unhealthy habits,
I choose to let go, embrace moderation, and open to self-control and balance.”


Tapping Round 1 – Acknowledging Gluttony

Eyebrow:
“This craving or overindulgence I feel”

Side of Eye:
“The desire to eat more than I need”

Under Eye:
“My attachment to food or comfort eating”

Under Nose:
“This tension or urge inside me”

Chin:
“All the ways gluttony affects my thoughts, body, and habits”

Collarbone:
“The discomfort or guilt it creates”

Under Arm:
“This compulsion to eat or overconsume”

Top of Head:
“All these ways gluttony blocks my health and balance”

Take a slow, grounding breath… exhale fully.


Tapping Round 2 – Understanding & Softening

Eyebrow:
“These urges once tried to comfort or protect me”

Side of Eye:
“They gave temporary relief or satisfaction”

Under Eye:
“I can honor their purpose”

Under Nose:
“But I no longer need excess to feel safe or happy”

Chin:
“I allow moderation, balance, and awareness to enter my life”

Collarbone:
“I release attachment to overindulgence”

Under Arm:
“I open to mindful, healthy choices and self-control”

Top of Head:
“Softening the grip of cravings and excess”

Breathe deeply… long exhale.


Tapping Round 3 – Releasing Gluttony

Eyebrow:
“I release compulsive eating, cravings, and overindulgence”

Side of Eye:
“Letting go of guilt, tension, or attachment”

Under Eye:
“I allow moderation, awareness, and balance”

Under Nose:
“I release the need to overconsume or seek comfort in excess”

Chin:
“Peace, control, and mindfulness fill my body and mind”

Collarbone:
“I open to nourishing my body appropriately”

Under Arm:
“Old patterns of gluttony dissolve safely”

Top of Head:
“I am free from cravings and unhealthy overindulgence”

Pause. Take a grounding breath.


Tapping Round 4 – Installing Self-Control & Balance

Eyebrow:
“I embrace moderation, mindfulness, and self-control”

Side of Eye:
“My body and mind are free from overindulgence”

Under Eye:
“I make healthy, conscious choices”

Under Nose:
“I am satisfied with what I need”

Chin:
“Balance, self-control, and awareness fill my life”

Collarbone:
“My eating habits support my health and well-being”

Under Arm:
“I choose nourishment, moderation, and inner freedom”

Top of Head:
“Mindfulness, balance, and self-control flow through me naturally”

Take a slow, grounding breath… and exhale completely.


Closing Integration

Place one hand on your stomach and one on your heart.

Say softly:

“I release gluttony, cravings, and overindulgence.
I embrace moderation, mindfulness, and balance.
Peace, control, and healthy nourishment flow through me naturally.”

Re-rate the intensity of gluttony from 0 to 10.
Repeat any round until you feel release, lightness, and self-control.
