Preparation

Take a slow, deep breath in… and fully release it.
Notice any feelings of pride, self-importance, defensiveness, or superiority — without judgment.
Simply observe where pride shows up in your body or mind.

Rate the intensity of pride from 0 to 10.


Setup Statement

(Tap the Karate Chop point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I notice pride in myself,
I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though I sometimes feel superior, self-important, or defensive,
I honor my awareness and am open to release this pride now.”

“Even though part of me clings to ego or self-centeredness,
I choose to let go, embrace humility, and open to inner balance.”


Tapping Round 1 – Acknowledging Pride

Eyebrow:
“This pride I feel inside”

Side of Eye:
“The need to be right or better than others”

Under Eye:
“My self-importance and ego-driven thoughts”

Under Nose:
“This defensiveness and rigidity in me”

Chin:
“The ways I hold myself above or apart from others”

Collarbone:
“All the times pride blocks connection and peace”

Under Arm:
“This stubbornness and self-centeredness”

Top of Head:
“All the ways pride limits me and my relationships”

Take a slow, grounding breath… exhale fully.


Tapping Round 2 – Understanding & Softening

Eyebrow:
“This pride once protected me or gave me confidence”

Side of Eye:
“It reminded me to stand strong or defend myself”

Under Eye:
“I can honor its purpose”

Under Nose:
“But I no longer need pride to feel safe or important”

Chin:
“I allow humility and balance to enter my heart”

Collarbone:
“I release the need to prove myself or be superior”

Under Arm:
“I open to connection, empathy, and understanding”

Top of Head:
“Softening the grip of pride and self-importance”

Breathe deeply… long exhale.


Tapping Round 3 – Releasing Pride

Eyebrow:
“I release pride, ego, and self-centeredness”

Side of Eye:
“Letting go of defensiveness and superiority”

Under Eye:
“I allow humility, compassion, and grace”

Under Nose:
“I release the need to be better or above others”

Chin:
“Peace, balance, and humility fill my heart”

Collarbone:
“I open to seeing myself and others with love and respect”

Under Arm:
“Old patterns of pride dissolve safely”

Top of Head:
“I am free from ego-driven limitations”

Pause. Take a grounding breath.


Tapping Round 4 – Installing Humility & Balance

Eyebrow:
“I embrace humility, grace, and openness”

Side of Eye:
“My heart is free from pride and self-importance”

Under Eye:
“I see others with understanding and respect”

Under Nose:
“I act from compassion, not ego”

Chin:
“I am balanced, humble, and grounded”

Collarbone:
“My relationships and life flow with ease and peace”

Under Arm:
“I choose love, empathy, and inner freedom”

Top of Head:
“Humility, balance, and grace flow through me naturally”

Take a slow, grounding breath… and exhale completely.


Closing Integration

Place one hand on your heart and one on your forehead.

Say softly:

“I release pride, ego, and self-importance.
I embrace humility, balance, and inner peace.
Grace, compassion, and love flow through me naturally.”

Re-rate the intensity of pride from 0 to 10.
Repeat any round until you feel release, lightness, and openness.
