Below is a gentle, trauma-aware EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) script focused on nervous system healing, self-love, self-esteem, and self-worth.
It’s suitable for personal use, sessions with clients, audio recording, or group work.

Tone: calm, regulating, compassionate.
Pace: slow, with pauses for breath.

Setup Statement (Karate Chop Point)

(Tap gently on the side of the hand)

Even though my nervous system has learned to stay on alert…
even though my body has been holding tension, fear, or self-doubt…
I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I’ve questioned my worth…
even though I’ve learned to push, prove, or protect myself…
I choose to be gentle with myself now.

Even though my body doesn’t always feel safe or calm…
I honour everything it has been doing to keep me safe.


Eyebrow

My nervous system has been working very hard.

Side of Eye

Always watching… always responding.

Under Eye

Holding old stress, old emotions, old beliefs.

Under Nose

Maybe I learned that love had to be earned.

Chin

Maybe I learned that I wasn’t enough as I was.

Collarbone

I acknowledge this without judging myself.

Under Arm

My body adapted the best way it could.

Top of Head

And I thank my nervous system for trying to protect me.


(Pause. Slow breath in through the nose… long exhale.)


 Second Round – Safety & Regulation

Eyebrow

Right now, I am safe enough to slow down.

Side of Eye

I don’t need to be on high alert in this moment.

Under Eye

My body can begin to soften.

Under Nose

It’s okay to rest.

Chin

It’s okay to receive.

Collarbone

It’s okay to stop proving my worth.

Under Arm

My worth is not something I have to earn.

 Top of Head

My nervous system can learn a new rhythm.


 Third Round – Self-Love

Eyebrow

I choose to meet myself with kindness.

Side of Eye

Even the parts of me that feel unsure.

Under Eye

Even the parts that feel wounded or tired.

Under Nose

I am learning to be on my own side.

Chin

I don’t have to be perfect to be lovable.

Collarbone

Love doesn’t require tension.

Under Arm

Love doesn’t require self-criticism.

Top of Head

I allow myself to feel gentle self-love now.


Fourth Round – Self-Esteem

Eyebrow

I honour myself for surviving and adapting.

Side of Eye

I respect my own journey.

Under Eye

I’m allowed to trust myself.

Under Nose

My feelings matter.

 Chin

My needs matter.

Collarbone

My voice matters.

Under Arm

I am learning to stand inside myself.

Top of Head

My confidence can grow softly, safely, naturally.


Fifth Round – Self-Worth & Integration

Eyebrow

My worth is inherent.

Side of Eye

It was never missing.

Under Eye

It was never broken.

Under Nose

I don’t need permission to be enough.

 Chin

I don’t need approval to belong.

Collarbone

I am worthy because I exist.

Under Arm

My nervous system is learning this truth.

Top of Head

I allow calm, safety, and self-worth to settle in my body.


Closing

Take a slow breath in…
and a long, gentle breath out.
