Better Sleep


Preparation

Sit or lie comfortably.
Take a slow, deep breath in… and exhale fully.

Bring awareness to your sleep patterns — notice any difficulty falling asleep, racing thoughts, tension in your body, or restless mind.
Acknowledge any stress, worry, or tension without judgment.


Setup Statement

(Karate Chop Point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I have trouble sleeping and my mind feels restless,
I deeply and completely accept myself,
and I am open to releasing tension, calming my mind, and enjoying deep, restorative sleep.”


Round 1 – Acknowledging Sleep Challenges

Eyebrow:
“I notice my mind is busy and restless at night”

Side of Eye:
“I feel tension in my body that keeps me awake”

Under Eye:
“I notice worry, stress, or racing thoughts”

Under Nose:
“I feel anxious or uneasy about sleep”

Chin:
“I sometimes toss and turn, unable to relax”

Collarbone:
“I feel the frustration of poor sleep”

Under Arm:
“I notice fear or tension about tomorrow”

Top of Head:
“I honor these feelings without judgment”


Round 2 – Releasing Sleep Disruption

Eyebrow:
“I release tension, stress, and anxiety from my body”

Side of Eye:
“I release racing thoughts and mental chatter”

Under Eye:
“I let go of worry about sleep”

Under Nose:
“I release frustration and restlessness”

Chin:
“I allow my body to relax completely”

Collarbone:
“I release control and allow sleep to come naturally”

Under Arm:
“I let go of tension, fear, and pressure”

Top of Head:
“I am open to calm, deep, and restorative sleep”


Round 3 – Inviting Rest and Relaxation

Eyebrow:
“My body and mind are calm and relaxed”

Side of Eye:
“I feel safe and peaceful as I prepare for sleep”

Under Eye:
“I allow my mind to settle and quiet”

Under Nose:
“My body releases tension and stress”

Chin:
“I am ready to drift into deep, restorative sleep”

Collarbone:
“I trust my body to rest and restore itself”

Under Arm:
“I feel safe, relaxed, and peaceful”

Top of Head:
“I am calm, centered, and ready to sleep deeply”


Round 4 – Strengthening Sleep Pattern

Eyebrow:
“I embrace deep, uninterrupted sleep”

“My body and mind naturally prepare for rest”

Under Eye:
“I release the need to overthink or control sleep”

Under Nose:
“I feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable”

Chin:
“My body is ready to restore, heal, and rejuvenate”

“I drift into calm, restorative sleep with ease”

Under Arm:
“I wake up refreshed, energized, and restored”

Top of Head:
“My sleep is deep, peaceful, and revitalizing”


Closing Integration

Place your hands on your chest or abdomen.
Take three slow, deep breaths.

Say aloud or silently:

“I release tension, stress, and worry.
I am calm, safe, and relaxed.
I allow deep, restorative sleep to flow naturally.
My body and mind are restored as I rest fully.”

Feel the relaxation, peace, and calm settle into your body.


Practice Notes
