Anger Management


Preparation

Sit comfortably or lie down.
Take a slow, deep breath in… and exhale fully.

Bring your awareness to any anger or irritation you feel — notice where it shows up in your body (tight jaw, chest, stomach, or shoulders).
Acknowledge your anger without judging yourself.


Setup Statement

(Karate Chop Point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I feel anger, frustration, or irritation right now,
and even though this anger sometimes feels out of control,
I choose to acknowledge it honestly,
and I am open to releasing this anger and feeling calm, balanced, and in control.”


Round 1 – Acknowledging Anger

Eyebrow:
“I notice this anger building inside me”

Side of Eye:
“I feel irritation and frustration with this situation”

Under Eye:
“I notice tension in my body and mind”

Under Nose:
“I feel triggered and reactive”

Chin:
“I notice thoughts of blame or resentment”

Collarbone:
“I feel pressure, heat, and tightness in my chest”

Under Arm:
“I feel the urge to react, lash out, or explode”

Top of Head:
“I acknowledge this anger honestly”


Round 2 – Releasing Anger

Eyebrow:
“I release the anger and frustration inside me”

Side of Eye:
“I release resentment, blame, and irritation”

Under Eye:
“I let go of the need to control or react impulsively**

Under Nose:
“I soften my body and mind**

“I release old patterns of anger and frustration**

“I allow calm and peace to flow**

Round 3 – Cultivating Calm and Control

Breathe slowly and deeply.

Say silently or aloud:

“I release anger, frustration, and tension.
I choose calm, patience, and clarity.
I respond with understanding and self-control.
Peace flows through me, and I am balanced, grounded, and centered.”
