Align with Joy – EFT Tapping Script

Preparation

Take a slow, deep breath in… and fully release it.
Notice any heaviness, stress, or resistance that blocks joy — without judgment.
Simply observe where joy feels limited in your body.

Rate your sense of joy from 0 to 10.


Setup Statement

(Tap the Karate Chop point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I sometimes struggle to feel joyful,
I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though life hasn’t always felt light or fun,
I honor my feelings and allow joy to emerge now.”

“Even though part of me doubts I can feel joy fully,
I choose to align with joy, playfulness, and inner delight.”


Tapping Round 1 – Acknowledging Blocks

Eyebrow:
“This heaviness or resistance to joy”

Side of Eye:
“The stress, worry, or tension inside me”

Under Eye:
“This sense of limitation or burden”

Under Nose:
“Any doubt that I can feel joy”

Chin:
“This tightness in my body and mind”

Collarbone:
“All the ways I’ve blocked joy”

Under Arm:
“This inner struggle”

Top of Head:
“All these barriers to joy”

Take a slow breath in… exhale fully.


Tapping Round 2 – Understanding & Softening

Eyebrow:
“These blocks once protected me”

Side of Eye:
“They kept me cautious or alert”

Under Eye:
“I can honor their purpose”

Under Nose:
“But I no longer need resistance to feel safe”

Chin:
“My mind and body can soften”

Collarbone:
“I allow myself to experience joy”

Under Arm:
“I am open to lightness and ease”

Top of Head:
“Letting go of tension and heaviness”

Breathe deeply… slow exhale.


Tapping Round 3 – Releasing Resistance

Eyebrow:
“I release doubt, tension, and heaviness”

Side of Eye:
“Letting go of worry and limitation”

Under Eye:
“I welcome playfulness and delight”

Under Nose:
“Allowing joy to flow naturally”

Chin:
“My body opens to laughter, ease, and happiness”

Collarbone:
“Old patterns that block joy dissolve”

Under Arm:
“I feel lighter and more uplifted”

Top of Head:
“Joy is allowed to expand in me”

Pause. Take a grounding breath.


Tapping Round 4 – Installing Joy

Eyebrow:
“I align with joy in every part of my life”

Side of Eye:
“I notice and appreciate moments of happiness”

Under Eye:
“My heart feels light and uplifted”

Under Nose:
“I choose joy moment by moment”

Chin:
“My body and mind welcome delight”

Collarbone:
“Playfulness, ease, and happiness flow to me”

Under Arm:
“I am open, present, and joyful”

Top of Head:
“Joy is my natural state”

Take a slow, grounding breath… exhale completely.


Closing Integration

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.

Say softly:

“I release resistance and welcome joy.
I allow myself to feel light, playful, and uplifted.
Joy flows through me easily and naturally.”

Re-rate your sense of joy from 0 to 10.
Repeat any round until the feeling of joy deepens.
