Stop Cigarette Cravings – EFT Tapping Script

Here’s a complete, ready-to-use EFT Tapping Script for Stopping Cigarette Cravings — designed to help you reduce cravings, release habitual triggers, and restore calm and control.

Stop Cigarette Cravings


Preparation

Sit comfortably or stand with your feet grounded.
Take a slow, deep breath in… and exhale fully.

Bring awareness to the urge to smoke.
Notice the physical sensations (tight chest, restlessness, tension), the emotions (stress, boredom, anxiety), and any triggers (coffee, stress, social situations).


Setup Statement

(Karate Chop Point – repeat 3 times)

“Even though I feel the urge to smoke a cigarette,
and even though this habit has affected my health and energy,
I deeply and completely accept myself,
and I am open to releasing this craving and reclaiming control, calm, and freedom.”


Round 1 – Acknowledging the Craving

Eyebrow:
“I notice the urge to smoke right now”

Side of Eye:
“I feel pulled to my usual habit”

Under Eye:
“I notice the craving in my body and mind”

Under Nose:
“I sometimes smoke automatically or out of stress”

Chin:
“I feel tension, restlessness, or anxiety”

Collarbone:
“This habit has impacted my health, energy, and wellbeing”

Under Arm:
“I feel the pull to smoke even when I know it’s harmful”

Top of Head:
“I acknowledge this habit honestly”


Round 2 – Understanding the Trigger

Eyebrow:
“This craving is my body’s learned response”

“It may be stress, routine, or emotion-driven”

“I don’t need to judge myself for this habit”

“I acknowledge the underlying need behind smoking”

Round 3 – Releasing the Urge

Round 5 – Future Pacing Freedom

“I imagine myself smoke-free, calm, and confident”

“I enjoy healthy routines instead of cigarettes”

“I feel proud of my choices and self-control”

Under Nose:
“I breathe freely and deeply”

Chin:
“I feel empowered in all situations where I used to smoke”

“I trust my body and my decisions”

“I radiate health, calm, and strength”

“I am free from cigarette cravings”


Closing Integration

Place one hand on your heart and one on your stomach.
Take three slow, deep breaths.

Say aloud or silently:

“I release the urge to smoke.
I choose calm, clarity, and freedom.
I honor my body, my lungs, and my health.
I am empowered and smoke-free.”

Allow this feeling of control, calm, and freedom to settle deeply into your body and mind.
