Nervous System Healing – Shift Perspective on Stress and Anxiety – EFT Script

This EFT script is designed to reframe stress and anxiety, helping the nervous system reinterpret sensations of activation not as danger, but as information, energy, or readiness.
Use this during the day or evening. Calm but awake is ideal.


Preparation

  • Sit or stand comfortably

  • One hand on your chest or belly

  • Take 3 slow breaths, extending the exhale

Silently say:
“I am willing to see this differently.”


EFT SETUP – Karate Chop Point

Tap gently and repeat 3 times:

Even though my nervous system experiences stress and anxiety,
and my body reacts strongly,
I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though stress feels uncomfortable and overwhelming at times,
I am open to understanding it in a new way.

Even though my body signals anxiety,
I choose to listen with curiosity instead of fear.


ROUND 1 – ACKNOWLEDGING THE CURRENT EXPERIENCE

Top of Head

This stress in my system.

Eyebrow

These anxious sensations.

Side of Eye

My body reacting.

Under Eye

Tightness, speed, pressure.

Under Nose

My nervous system activating.

Chin

Trying to help me cope.

Collarbone

This is how my body responds.

Under Arm

I acknowledge what is happening.


ROUND 2 – REFRAMING THE SIGNAL

Top of Head

This activation is not danger.

Eyebrow

It’s information.

Side of Eye

Energy moving through my system.

Under Eye

A signal, not a threat.

Under Nose

My body communicating with me.

Chin

Not trying to harm me.

Collarbone

Just trying to prepare me.

Under Arm

I can listen without panic.


ROUND 3 – SOFTENING THE RESPONSE

Top of Head

I don’t need to fight this feeling.

Eyebrow

I don’t need to escape it.

Side of Eye

I don’t need to suppress it.

Under Eye

I allow it to pass naturally.

Under Nose

My breath slows it down.

Chin

My awareness calms it.

Collarbone

My nervous system responds to safety.

Under Arm

I choose calm interpretation.


ROUND 4 – SHIFTING PERSPECTIVE

Top of Head

Stress is not my enemy.

Eyebrow

Anxiety is not failure.

These are nervous system patterns.

Under Eye

Learned responses.

Under Nose

They can change.

Chin

My body is adaptable.

Collarbone

My nervous system can recalibrate.

Under Arm

I am teaching it safety now.


ROUND 5 – CHOOSING A NEW MEANING

Top of Head

Activation means I care.

Eyebrow

Energy means I’m alive.

Side of Eye

Sensation means awareness.

Under Eye

I don’t have to label this as fear.

Under Nose

I can call it readiness.

Chin

Or movement.

Collarbone

Or temporary activation.

Under Arm

I choose a gentler meaning.


CLOSING – INTEGRATION

Stop tapping.
Place both hands on your body.

Say softly:

My nervous system is learning.
I am safe as sensations move through me.
Stress does not define me.
Anxiety is a message, not a threat.
I can meet my body with calm understanding.

Take 3 slow breaths.
Notice any subtle shift—however small.


Optional Daily Reframe Phrase

(Repeat during moments of stress)

“This is activation, not danger.
My body is communicating, and I am safe.”
