Be Kind
Preparation
Sit comfortably with your feet grounded.
Place your hands over your heart or on your lap.
Take a slow, deep breath in… and exhale fully.
Bring awareness to moments when you may have been unkind, judgmental, or impatient, or when it’s difficult to express kindness to yourself or others.
Acknowledge these feelings without judgment.
Setup Statement
(Karate Chop Point – repeat 3 times)
“Even though I sometimes struggle to be kind to myself or others,
I deeply and completely accept myself,
and I am open to expressing compassion, empathy, and kindness in every situation.”
Round 1 – Acknowledging Challenges to Kindness
Eyebrow:
“I notice times when I am impatient, harsh, or unkind”
